Our Story
Stache’s Spinners began as a small bench, a clutter of feathers and thread, and a simple question: “Can I make something honest enough to fool a fish I respect?” There was no grand plan—just late nights, slow experiments, and a lot of time on familiar water, paying attention to what fish actually eat and how they move. Over time, those quiet sessions at the vise turned into a steady rhythm: observe, tinker, test, repeat.
We don't believe a fly has to be revolutionary to be meaningful. We believe thoughtfully tied, dependable patterns—built with care and inspired by the waters we know—earn their place one fish at a time. Each fly is an invitation to slow down, notice the details, and trust the small things that often go overlooked. If our flies help you fish with a little more patience, curiosity, and respect for the river, then they've done their job.
